Christina Balomenaki is an undergraduate student in the School of Architectural Engineering at the Technical University of Crete. Her research interests focus on the habitability framework of space in terms of the psychological and anthropological parameters that affect it. Moreover, she explores the qualitative aspects of the built environment and specifically the ways they support and enhance human activity and interactions. Design-wise, she researches the use of transformable spatial systems that have the ability to improve the quality of space and increase, through that, the psychological comfort of people.
